Embed a picasa Slideshow in your blog

Posting a picture in a post helps push the message across, after all a picture is worth a thousand words. Yet sometimes a mere thousand words are not enough, so you need to add more pictures. But posting too many pictures will make your post grow longer, sometimes too long for the readers -not good. So you ask, “Is there a way to post all those pictures without inducingscrollingitis on my readers?”. If I may answer, I would say yes there are ways to prevent scrollingitis, and one of them is by using a slideshow.

I. Making the slideshow

1. Go to Picasa Web Albums and sign-in with your Google account.
2. Upload or group the pictures together in an album.
3. From within the album, click on Link To This Album link.
4. Click on Embed Slideshow. A pop-up showing slideshow configuration and preview will appear.
5. Change Slideshow size to fit your blog post width. There are also options toAutoplay and Show caption.

II. Embedding the slideshow in your blog

• To embed in a post, follow this step:
  1. Go to Blogger Post Editor.
  2. Switch to Edit HTML mode.
  3. Copy and paste the entire code in the yellow window and paste it into your post where you want the slideshow to play.
  4. Save your post and view it. The slideshow should playing inside the post.

• To embed in a page element e.g. sidebar, follow this step:
  1. Go to Design > Page Elements.
  2. Click Add A Gadget link.
  3. Select HTML/Javascript gadget.
  4. Save the slideshow code into the gadget window.
  5. Save and view your blog. The slideshow should playing inside the sidebar.

Apple's next-generation iPhone popularly being referred to as iPhone 5 is launching on August 7, claims a blog on Know Your Mobile website. The website makes this claim citing "a reliable industry source" who, it says, has stated that the Cupertino-based tech giant will launch the device during a keynote speech.

Earlier, the same website had reported that the launch date of iPhone 5 has been pushed ahead to August in order to compete better againstSamsung Galaxy S III.

There have been many rumours and leaks about the device. The latest post by Know Your Mobile has pegged the launch date for the much anticipated smartphone at least 3 months ahead of the day when iPhone 4S was unveiled.

Moreover, this launch date will be ahead of the scheduled roll out of iOS 6, which is said to be launched this September. It is anticipated that the upcoming iPhone will be shipped with the latest version of Apple's operating system.

Though the website's source did not mention any specifications of the device, speculations are rife that the new iteration of the iPhone will feature a host of modifications. These include larger screen size, quad core processor, NFC capabilities, Liquidmetal design and repositioned headphone jack, among others.

Recently, two websites released leaked photos of the still-in-production iPhone with a larger touchscreen and modifications consistent with the rumours, such as relocated headphone jack and larger speaker and microphone grills

Tricky tricks

1.do you know how to make a folder without a name? is it possible? oh yea it is possible. just try it out..
# Click the folder, then right click on it, then click rename and delte the old name.
# Then pressing ALT button from your keyboard and type 0160 after that press enter.

Important think to notice - you have to type by holding the ALT button, don't stop pressing and while you will type 0160 it will not appear.You should continue typing and then press enter. Another important thing is that you have to type the code (0160) by your numpad. If you type the code from the upper number key it won't work.
So, make sure your Numpad key is on.

2.Forbidden name trick: Do you know you it is not possible make a folder with the name "con" ? No matter how many times you try to make a folder with the name Con you won't be able to make it. I don't know the reason.


3. Microsoft word tricks: Just open your microsoft word and then type =Rand(200,99) then press enter. Enjoy the magic

4.Create Shutdown,log off, or hibernate shortcut key: Sometimes we get too lazy and we need some easier way to do our work. Lets create shortcut key to shutdown our computers. At first right click on your desktop free space then click new and select shortcut. A box will appear and type the following word exactly shutdown -r -t 0 . then click ok. A new shortcut folder will be created and you can shut down your computer immediately . For log off or stand by copy the following :
Restart: shutdown -r -t 0
Logoff: shutdown -l -t 0

Create a log Open Notepad On the very first line, type in ".LOG" (without quotes) then press Enter for a new line Now you can type in some text if you want, then save the file. Next time when you open the file, notice its contents. Notepad automatically adds a time/date log everytime you open the file. Text becomes unreadable Open Notepad On the very first line, type in "dont eat the donut" (without quotes) then save and close the file. Note: the file should have only one line of the text above. Create a trail image Open Paint, then open an image. Right-click on the image and select "Select All" Now hold the "Shift" key and move the image around.
